Because of the availability of new and used cars for many popular models being at an all-time low, there is an increased risk that your car could be stolen. In fact, while the latest car theft national reports for 2021 remain to be tabulated, many cities already share common news reports about what is going on with car thefts in their homes.

For example, here is what one news story reported recently in Portland, Oregon with Hondas, Fords and Subaru’s being the most targeted vehicles:

Portland will likely end 2021 with most car thefts in years

A Simple Solution to This Problem

Sometimes the simplest solution is the most elegant and useful answer to a common problem. That is the message in a recent Scotty Kilmer YouTube channel episode where Scotty shows that although not a foolproof solution, this one can greatly increase the odds that your car will not be stolen.

The beauty of the solution is that practically any car owner can physically do what Scotty demonstrates in the video clip below---even without any prior car mechanical or maintenance experience. All a car owner has to be able to do is locate their fuse box under the hood of their car and pull out the correct fuel system fuse---which is often labeled within the inside cover of the fuse box.
